Staff Accountant - Ben works in the audit, tax, and small business departments. He has the opportunity to assist clients in all different facets of their business. It gives him the opportunity to work with clients in different rolls and is able to see client needs at different levels. Ben enjoys the opportunities that public accounting has to offer. It is a great adventure to work with a client and watch their dream take shape and to grow.
Professional and Educational Experience - He graduated from Utah Valley University with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. After finishing his Schooling in 2009, Ben began working in the accounting profession. Currently he is sitting for his CPA exam. He is an Advocate and board member for the American Diabetes Association, and serves as the President of Fund Raising. Before coming to the Accounting Profession Ben worked in the Restaurant Industry for over 15 years. He held every position from the Dishwasher to the General Manager of a full service Restaurant. The Restaurant Industry taught him about hard work and the ability of juggling many different titles. Ben is a member of ZIP 39 and of the Madison/Ridgeland BNI Group. Ben also earned the rank of Eagle Scout at the young age of 14.
Personal Profile - Ben has been married for nearly 14 years. His loving wife Lisa is the inspiration in his life. They have 4 adorable children and have the unique opportunity with the last two being twins. He loves to sit at the pool and play with his children. If he is not with his family or at work is new found love is golf. Ben enjoys being outside as much as possible. It rarely is difficult to convince him to come outside and play. He loves to be active and plays most any sport. Ben also works with the youth group at his church. It keeps him thinking that he is still in his twenties but the next morning he wakes up to reality. When he was 19 he had the opportunity to live in Paris, France. That opportunity is what leads to his lifetime goal to someday travel Europe, and if his wife will let him, do it with a backpack.
